Before I was old enough to own a handgun I had to have a Glock 19 and a H&K P7M8. Got the G19 when I was 21 and the P7 when I was 22. Still have them today!

"Perfect Practice Makes Perfect"
"There are 550 million firearms on this planet. That's one firearm for every 12 people. The question is... How do we arm the other 11?" Lord of War.
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." Thomas Jefferson
For God and the soldier we adore, In time of danger, not before! The danger passed, and all things righted, God is forgotten and the soldier slighted." - Rudyard Kipling
An AR-15 of course.
Rock River Arms Tactical CAR A4, S&W Bodyguard .380, S&W Model 410 .40 cal, S&W M&P22
S&W M&P 40, Custom .22LR AR, Mossberg 500
Wow, nice to see the P99 getting some loving. For me, it wasn't 007 that got me interested - a lot of it was Underworld. It may not have been the best movie but Kate Beckinsale dual-weilding a pair of P99s while wearing skin-tight black leather should get any man's blood going
Ooh, I'm jealous. Maybe someday my oddballs will be worth something too
I agree it's a must have but I purposely didn't mention it because there are plenty of good reasons to want one, and it certainly ain't oddball enough
Well, I just added another "had to have" to my collection - ordered the aforementioned Jericho 941 online and should hopefully have it in my greedy little hands within the week. Can't wait!
Another oddball gun I find myself wanting just for the heck of it is an FN FS2000. I wouldn't give up my trusty AR for it but I think it's one sexah looking gun. "Space gun" indeed!
FN PS90
I thought it was a neat design and visually appealing. Completely worthless mind you, but cool nonetheless. It's a hoot to shoot.
As soon as I found out about the HK Elite in 9mm I had to have it. They had just stopped making them and I found one online. It quickly became my "go to" target pistol. I managed to take a red-tailed fox squirrel at about 70-80 yards with it two years ago with its open sights (totally amazed myself!). OK, I did have a rest but still my greatest shot ever and still my favorite handgun.
A 1938 S/42 P.08 Luger-mine was a matching serial number Russian capture piece, with a Russian arsenal matte bluing and non-matching grips; it went to John Martz for a total restoration, mechanical and cosmetic-once a year, I use it with glee at an IDPA match;
A SIG P210-6, LNIB, which after about 10 years of ownership I sold to finance...
My Nighthawk Talon II, totally custom spec'ed by me;
A basic blued Ruger P89, to commemorate the P85 I carried as my PDW as a group XO in the early 1990s;
A FN Hi-Power, in .40-I've had 3, after I traded #2, I knew immediately that I needed a Hi-Power, so I lucked into one of the last NIB FN .40 Mk IIIs after FN decided to get out of the US Hi-Power market;
My Glocks-G17, G19, G21, G34-they're one of the gold standards of what a combat automatic pistol is, and should be. They're not perfect, but they are an exceptionally good tool(s);
My stainless Ruger Security Six, for its Ruger lineage, it's rugged functionality, and a certain amount of elegance;
A Beretta 92D; possessing all of the inherent goodness of the 92 series, and none (for me) of the bad features;
...and the list goes on....(but those are some of the highlights which come to mind)
Best, Jon

I had to have one of those Glock 19 pistols with the Austrian proof marks. Paid way too much for one on gunbroker when they first started showing up.
