You think I would learn as I paid 3/k for my Scar in June and now feel cheap and used . I also fell for the FS2000 2/k sceme several years ago . On the other side with the current politics you better grab what you can when you can. I have been tainted by the 1989 and 1994 ban when it hit , NOTHING and I mean NOTHING was available when they hit. Things may turn that way again w/ Obonga and mid terms coming !

Let's stay on topic. If you want to talk about gun control we have another area for that.

So far the three benefits of BAD that I've heard from its users are:

    1. Faster reloads with Redimag
    2. Marginally faster reloads in general.
    3. Ability to maintain grip while locking bolt back during malfunction clearances/admin. handling.

Re 1: I've no clue if Redimag would work with SCAR, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't. There are a couple of plastic tabs above and below ambi mag release button that may interfere.

Re 3: one of SCARs advantages that isn't often mentioned is the ease of locking bolt back without giving up your grip (this is for a right-handed shooter).

So if 1 doesn't work and 3 is non-issue, I dunno if anybody would care about 2.
