Set me Straight: G21SF Holster Compatibility

Picked up a 21SF this afternoon. I had the option of the ambi-safety/Picatinny rail, or the RH Safety/Glock Rail, and went with the latter.

That being said, I'm trying to determine holster compatibility. To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a difference between the 21 and the 21SF that I picked up, other than the grip. Common sense leads me to believe that since I opted for the Glock-Railed version, I should be able to use any standard 21 holster.

    Currently, I'm eyeballing a Blade-Tech holster for the G21 and X300.

Stop me if I'm as wrong as two boys f$#*in'.

You're good to go for holsters. I have a G21SF and I have never had a problem using regular G21 holsters.

I hope you enjoy your G21SF as much as I have enjoyed mine.

I've been on the fence about it for almost six months, and finally sucked it up and got it.

That's a breath of fresh air on the holster situation. It looks as though Blade-Tech offers every possible configuration of light+weapon that I'm interested in for the 21.

ETA: I've been stewing on this pistol for over a year, at least: http://m4carbine.net/showpost.php?p=264228&postcount=12

    Sheesh, took me long enough.

Your G21SF w/ Glock rail will fit any G21 FG/R holster.

If your holster was molded for a non-FG/R frame, you may have fit issues. This will be more an issue with leather than kydex, but watch the kydex that are formed with more detail.

Roger that. I'll most likely be going the kydex route.

Are you guys running dedicated lights on yours? Any issues with frame-flex/feeding?

Yes I run an X300 with a DG switch and I have yet to have any issues.
