Hawt. I couldn't find that KAC/RB1 micro mount anywhere and RB1's website doesn't show up so I just bought the regular KAC NVG mount from Operations Parts instead.

For those of you using a URX 3.1 handguard, what gas block are you using? I bought a DD 18" S2W barrel with a rifle length gas system, and I installed it under my URX 3.1 handguard, with a Knight's Armament low profile gas block. As you can see, the bottom edge of the gas block touches the bottom of the handguard. I bought the gas block directly from KAC, but the picture on the website does not look like the gas block I received. I already contacted their customer service, and got an RMA to send it back for a refund, which I promptly did. However, that still leaves me without a gas block. I'd like to use a KAC gas block if I can, but it seems as if one that will work for my current configuration is not available. Does anybody have any suggestions? For those who have a factory built SR15 rifle with a URX 3.1 handguard, what shape is your gas block? What part number (if any) does it have stamped on it?

That's the part number I ordered from KAC. I asked if there was a gas block in stock that featured a more tapered bottom edge, and I was told that there was not.
