Nice work Ayan. Two questions, what are you using to touch up the milling and what is the purpose of the slot & small hole machined into the upper portion of the rail?

I use regular Aluma Black. It takes a bit of patience to get it completely black again. Once a layer reacts on the surface it stops working so I reapply it every 20 seconds or so for a couple of minutes.

I understand the other holes are for rail fixturing and installation specific to the new gas system.

Are there any offset scout mounts that will not interfere with a 99051 front sight in the 11:00 position?

I was running the Haley Thorntail on my URX III and was still able to flip the sight up and down. Not sure how much extra space that sight may or may not take up compared to the integrated URX flip up.
