Yeah I just bought a unfired ecc for above a acc new price. Dimples matter.

Can I take a guess? Same thing along the lines with price inflation with clone parts, is it because of MARSOC?

I'd think it's because the ECC is an SR25 classic, just like how the SR15 dimpled uppers command a premium now - along with the fact that both are no longer produced

Looks. The majority of comments on forums about the ECC are about the cool look of the rail and/or the dimples as in the above post. Looks are last on my priority list so I end up having butterface rifles

I dunno. I doubt it was MARSOC fanboyism or barrel dimpling (which I thought was still on newer rifles).

It has the last gen block and a URX 3.1.

Still not quite 1500 more. Not a big deal just curious
