I will look into that. When i have it outside it does not bother me at all. Only at the inside range where the lights are right overhead

It can also be an issue on a bright sunny day. It’s been a thing for a long time, one reason the current fiber optic Trijicon variables have adjustable ambient light input shades.

I suggest gaffer's tape. It sticks but doesn't leave residue. You can fold one end slightly to make a pull tab and adjust as necessary.

If you have done work at night with any .mil or civillian alternative you will immediately see its worth when you illuminate targets at 200m and beyond and get solid hits.
