I thought maybe you had it mounted on the URX's front sight with the folding front sight behind it to show that it is a possible combination. I think it is a good place to mount a light just not that it is a good idea to purchase a front sight for $180 when I already have one on the weapon.

Guys who are being issued equipment care about what works, not about the cost. In my case, I have a lot of equipment, so I configure it in a lot of different ways. I wouldn't read too much into it with my pictures, I'm always swapping things around. Hopefully that makes a little sense.
I did it originally to show it could be done with a fixed sight.

Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.
I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

In terms of the selectors....I currently only run the BAD-ASS ST ambi selectors or essentially a 45 degree throw that replaces the traditional 90 degree throw that ARs use. Lots of discussion on the BAD-ASS ST at the end of this thread including where Robb weighed in about running the ST's in all his guns.
