Good to hear. Are you still using the original trigger return spring?

Amazing report, might be time to change out the barrel though if accuracy is starting to suffer!
The barrel likely needs a good scrubbing with a brass brush and copper solvent.
I recall an endurance test of a SIG 220 where the accuracy faded after several thousand rounds. Once the barrel was cleaned and the excess copper removed it shot great again.
Nice report, btw. I have a couple of 226 Navys and they are definitely some of the most reliable guns that I have ever owned. Zero malfunctions after several thousand rounds fired.
Wow that is great! What a milestone!
I have a 1991 made P228 that also has a high round count and shows very little internal wear. I probably should have kept track of the round count over the years. It is high but probably not nearly as high as your P226 Navy.
Still...yes...SIGs don't seem to have tons of internal wear signs even after a high volume of shooting. My 1991 P228 looks about like yours on the inside....like the rail area and smiles on the barrel.
It is amazing how well the earlier SIGs held up and how reliable they are.

Ha-- seriously. That was my question. Is that the original finish? My Navy-- which has only bout 10,000 rounds through it--shows bare metal and various knicks/scratches from holster use and training. Love the gun-- it's never let me down. Congrats on the milestone-- looking forward to shooting mine that long and beyond.

Any new update?
Yes, my 226 NSW has about 300 rounds now.
Thanks for asking.
I've heard someone in the teams mention that their SIGs easily outlast their M4's.
