    I haven't felt the need to change anything in the last four months, so I think I'm pretty GTG.

    I use an Eagle chest rig like Rob_S. I keep a few tools, a light and a knife on there as well.

    Which TAG plate carrier is that & what size/type of plates are you running in there? The shoulder straps look more comfortable and CIRAS-like then the Paraclete SOHPC that i'm curently utilizing.

    Also, does it accept side ESAPI's?

    Don't know if they have a specify model name for this carrier, but the item code on their web site is CPH1. This is a one size fits all. and it should accept ESAPI.
    I used this thing in couple of classes and run around in desert. It fits comfortably nice and tight.
