Yes, that's with the Wilcox J arm attached. If you're going to run a dovetail attachment, the Norotos Dual Dovetail takes up very little space in a pouch and is rock solid.

The CAT there raises eyebrows for sure. I used to run one there with retainer bands, but the Mayflower TQ holder is loose enough I can pull it out with either hand while on my back. I used to also mount one on my cummerbund on the support side, but actually like where it is now more. Keeps everything out of the way of my belt.

Also, I'm just a sample of one, but so long as your PVS-14 is one of the single AA models, you'll be fine with it getting bumped around. The old style dual AA housings are prone to cracking around the battery housing as well as breaking the wings off of the battery cap (including the metal connections inside...horrible design). I had to use a soda can tab to complete the circuit my first deployment when mine broke off and I couldn't find it.

Throw on a sacrificial window for cheap insurance and rock on.

My first post on the forum! Have loved all of your guy's load out pictures and all the ideas as to why you chose the gear you did! Any and all feedback is appreciated! Thanks guys!

My loadout is a 3 stage setup that becomes more versatile as I move up the line from range work/General use to Home defense to SHTF...

I know that not all of it is the best available but with money what it is I worked within my means! I do a lot of movement shooting on my buddies farm with multiple steel targets and a lot of varmint hunting there as well (squirrels, coons, possums, muscrat, and coyotes)! So the range belt gets used a lot but once my steel plates are finished then the PC/chest rig will get worn as well! The farmers in his area are all active pest hunters so a little extra protection goes along way!

-1st Line: this would be my Range Belt (Battle Belt as many would call it). I think I have a pretty simple setup. This I use everytime I go to an outdoor range! Plus I know that with it I can comfortably survive an unexpected night out in the woods! From left to right on my belt
*Condor utility belt with Condor Gen II Padded belt
    *CRKT Achi knife
*Condor Double M4/pistol mag pouches (2 AR mags/4-pistol mags)
*Voodoo General gear pouch w/ simple survival kit, (matches, firestarter, paracord, 5'x8' emergency tarp/blanket, and extra ammo)
*Condor Rip away EMT kit w/ R.A.T.S. tournqet
    *Galco kydex holster
*Condor I accessory pouch with leatherman tool and flashlight

-2nd line: My plate carrier/chest rig. For home defense and personal protection and additional ammo carrying ability for rifle.
    *Condor Sentry vest
*front and back steel plates coated with rhino coat
    (being made as we speak)
*Condor open top Triple magazine pouch (3 AR mags)
*Condor Admin pouch w/map pocket and radio/pistol mag pouch and 10X monocular and 2 chem sticks
    *Rear grab handle
*5.11 quick release accessory straps on rear for strapping gear or rifle

-3rd line: This would be my rucksack to carry a 3-day survival load... It contains everything I need to survive and make the trip on foot to our families preplanned meeting location from work or home and to get home from work via my preplanned routes!
    *40L tactical assault pack
*3 extra AR mags, 2 extra pistol mags
    *extra ammo for each weapon
    *100 foot 8mm climbing line
*25 ft 1'' tubular webbing (for swiss seat or rigging)
    *4 carabiners (multiple uses)
    *Camo netting for hideaways
    *Jetboil stove with fuel
    *3 days of rations
    *2 liters water
    *Sawyer mini microfilter
*Motorola 25 mile range radio (my wife has one too that she keeps in her bag)
*General personal clothing including change of clothes, gloves, hat, socks, micro fleece pullover and outerwear
    *Headlamp
*Spare set of batteries for all electronics (I am looking into rollup solar chargers)
    *5'x8' fleece blanket
    *Field Knife
    *Small repair kit
    *general 1st aid kit
    *toiletries
*notebook with copies of personal items
*Compass and maps of my surrounding areas

Thank you! I'm glad to see someone else with this logic, although I know I'm far from the only one.

Things that can sneak up on you and need to be quickly addressed:
    Bullets
    Dead batteries
    Bad people
The need for more good people

    Things that don't:
    Hunger
    Sunset

That shit can go to a pack or on my backside.

Do those pouches have Velcro backing? Where did you get those?

They are attached to a Velocity Systems placard which has Velcro backing. The double shorty kywi and pistol pouches have Raven Concealment paddles attached for quick donning/doffing on a belt.
