The gas block is a neat little piece. The screws clamp it on the side, not the bottom. This means that even if the screws come loose, it still clamps with enough force to keep it in place. I had to take a screwdriver and pry it open a bit to slide it on.

ETA: here's a pic that has the gas block:

I was definitely pretty hesitant about the Sig brace when I first grabbed mine, but the more I shoot with it the more I'm all about it. What an outstanding idea

OP- How's that Anderson lower compare to others? Seem GTG?
I've seen these around, but can't seem to find any real good reviews...

The fit is pretty decent. Upper to lower has a little wiggle, which doesn't bother me as its not excessive. I also took my stripped upper to the store and tried several different lowers until I found one that had the tightest fit. This isn't because of the lowers, its because that upper has seen six different builds so far.

The finish is a little weak. It's evenly applied, even colored, and attractive. It's simply not as hard as a good mil spec phosphate coating. I had a 'mis-swing' while assembling and there's a scratch down to the metal. I didn't even think I swung that hard. It's a freakin roll-pin hammer!

Where things needed to be screwed in, they did so easily and without binding. Where pins needed to be pushed through, they were nice and tight. Where pins needed to be hammered in, they were 'standard' tension I guess. Where springs needed to be seated, they did so easily and without too much wiggle.

It was so unremarkable that I actually noticed how absolutely standard and easy it was, which is a lot to say between how many different manufacturers parts were used in this gun.

Time will tell about the overall durability, but I bought this to have as a handy little gun for plinking and maybe in the car for road trips.

The best part about it is that it cost me a whopping $80 out the door from my LGS.

Are there any angles/views that you'd like to see in particular?

I haven't weighed it yet, but its pretty light without the can hanging off the front. Something about an older designed steel suppressor hanging off the end of a stick throws the balance off!

Very nice, and cleanly done. As for being front heavy, an ankle weight wrapped around the receiver extension should fix that.

Something small but important. Every magazine I've tried has dropped free: USGI, Magpul, surefire, and lancer.
