Mike -- what do you think of the light?
I've been trying to lighten some of mine - the 9V SF's are a bit too much on a small gun.

All I have to say is when I have to buy another Surefire for a rifle, it's going to be a Scout. I've never owned a SF 9V, so it's kinda hard for me to compare a Scout to one, but I can't tell a major difference in performance between the Scout and a regular 6V or my 951. The difference in weight is very noticable though. It's almost like night and day. USMC03 is the one that pointed me (as usual) in the direction of the Scout. He replaced a few SF 9Vs for Scouts because the 9Vs were too much extra weight for not that much more added benefit.

Molsen, do you know if Surefire makes a "C" tailcap for the Scout?

If by "C" you mean "clickie" as in click-on and click-off, then yes, they do. In fact, mine came with both the "C" and the tape switch.

It's called the SW02 tailcap an it's no longer produced by SureFire, get yours while they're still around.
