Thought I would bump this one up a little. Hopefully some NC shooters will chime in. I had a shooting buddy go out and check out Front Line Defense in Warrenton NC and he says it's GTG. I will go myself and check it out and repost.

    H2O near Dunn: http://h2ofowlfarmsnc.com/shooting-ranges/

Woody's Hunting and Rifle club is going to be one of the premiere ranges in the country when completed: http://whr.club/

Any good >100 yard ranges within 1 hour of the Winston-Salem/GSO area that anyone is aware of? I tried Westmar which was OK.. but very very small, and only 3 spots for a 100 yard range.

Uwharrie and Caswell gamelands have nice public ranges, only 100yds.
Members only: Central Carolina Gun Club in Burlington, has 200yds and multiple short range bays plans for 1000yd, Piedmont Handgunners Assoc just South of Lexington has 200yds and multiple short bays, shotgun facilities, and a rimfire range with steel. They both host some matches and do periodic open houses so you can check them out.

PHA has a 100 yard range with multiple firing points. The 200 yard range has 100 and 200 target stands but is not as big. They have matches of some sort just about every weekend. The gate is opened and non-members can come shoot the matches. Any member will happily show you around. I'll probably be there Saturday for the plate match.
