IIRC, the cartridge is a proprietary design of SSK Industries. I don't believe there has been much technical information released about it yet.

FWIW, there are several other .223-based wildcats that can be adapted to the AR platform fairly easily.

It has actually been around for some time in a variety of formats (6.5 TCU, 6.5/.223, 6.5 MPC, etc) and has been utilized a few times in the AR platform. Just looking for input - CH-4D had dies in stock and Dave Manson will make up a reamer.

I think it will be my next project...

    Thumbs up

I cant offer any tips to offer because I have seen very much info on this round. What i do know is that can be "adapted" to fit 556/223 platforms quite easily.Like,I hear the cases fit into SAW links, which is good if the DoD ever decide to put a bigger "engine" into such weapons.Good luck and keep us posted.

I'd say give it a go and post up some results. I'm seriously thinking about tinkering with a .30 cal wildcat based on the .223 because I saw similar dies available from CH-4D.
