New DSA STG58STD. Removed bipod to lighten the front end some. Thinking of contacting TTI about trimming barrel to 18" and rethreading. Then finding an Enterprise Zeroclimb brake. Thinking this may balance the rifle a little better

The PWS-FAL brake works well, and even better it's not an Entreprise. The 3 port Vandenberg is tops for recoil reduction, but is both big and loud. The PWS is on the small side and makes for a trim package with good recoil reduction and reduced muzzle climb.

This is a great thread, the FAL is a quality rifle built during a time when firearms were milled from solid blocks of steel. Certainly an art form.
