So your HK spits brass about 525,000 ft directly up in the air? Sounds like it might be more efficient if you spit the brass at your target rather than shoot at it.

When he said 'literally' he meant 'figuratively' like most people these days. I'm beginning to wonder if anyone knows what that word even means these days since it seems that you can just use it the same as an exclamation point regardless of the definition.

That was what I was going for. It is funny to me that when you misuse the word "literally" you are using that word in the exact opposite of what it is intended.

It's just 55gr FMJ BVAC bulk ammo. There's a sonic crack but the berm was only about 25 yards away and that makes it harder to hear.

I've thought about that. However the damage the brass from this gun would do produce, ATF would classify it as a DD......
