I installed one on my SR-25LM. Had to trim the front strap where it slides onto the lower receiver. The adapter is made from a rubber-like material and is squeezed between the MIAD and the receiver for a tight fit. I may need to do some additional fitting; there is a very small gap (~40 mils) that exposes the rear take down pin spring.
If you run the smaller backstrap (as I like to on SR-25 Carbines) you don't need the filler piece

my problem wasn't the backstrap (i like the big one, but can live with the standard one) so much as retaining the takedown pin.
On SR-15/SR-16/SR-25 series weapons one option if you are not using the MIAD SR-25 Spacer, is to use a second take down pin detent - it fills the space perfectly and pushes the spring down into the gap on the MIAD.
