    POF .308?

Anyone have experience with the POF MRR-308 rifle? I'm thinking about getting the 16" version: http://www.pof-usa.com/p308/P-308-16...E-C.R.O.S..htm

Positives/negatives, handling, recoil, any feedback is appreciated.

I was going to hold out for a LWRC REPR but the prices are ridiculous. A local gun shop quoted me $5500 to preorder the 18" REPR

One of the biggest negative with the POF is getting one. My buddy has had one on order since November of last year. Most people wait over a year, some up to 18 months. I got the REPR instead. $5500 is way out of line for one. I paid $3170 shipped for my 20", but I ordered it when it was still the SABR. SGCUSA has them in stock on a regular basis for retail price, I believe the 20" is $3600 and the shorter ones are cheaper. I have also been reading that they have had a lot of QC problems lately. My dealer said the last 3 he got in were lemons. I am not bashing POF because I have a LWRC, I have been wanting a POF for a while but after reading the QC problems, customer service problems and the ridiculous wait times, I am leery.

    Thanks. Waiting sucks.

Minus the ripoff jerks 16" REPR's are going for $3100-$3300 on GB. Think I'll hit up the Portland Gun Expo and see if there are local availabilities before using GB.

I got my POF 308 from avguns.com. Give Felex a call and he will take care of you. He has POF 308's and REPR's. You won't have to wait long for the POF or the REPR and the price was fair. Let me know how it goes.

OK avguns.com is the most annoying website I've ever been to.

Forget the website and give them a call. You will have what you look for before you can get it anywhere else. Forget the website. You are not looking to buy a website.
