My Springfield Loaded customized by Hatfields Gunsmithing

This is my Springfield 1911 Loaded customized by Sam Hatfield of Hatfields Gunsmithing.

I had Sam remove my (installed by me Dawson rail) and install a stainless Novak picatinny rail. He said the dustcover was way out of round so it wasn't my fault that I had installed it crooked. He also installed a 10-8 flat trigger, under cut its triggerguard and textured the front strap. He Duracoated the slide and frame with his signature pattern. It came out awesome! I love it.

Very nice! I still haven't found the right 1911. That trigger looks promising.

That is an awesome looking pistol, my friend.

What is the reason behind the flat trigger, if I may ask?

Really just to match the feel of my Limited gun. Flat triggers to me anyway make the trigger weight feel lighter than it actually is.

    Outstanding 1911...

    Everything you need; no frills.

    Question: who's magwell?

Love the duracoat pattern. I have a bare AR lower coming that I was thinking of adding some color to...may have to contact Hatfields about that.

    Nicely done blaster.

That's a really nice pistol! How do you find a carry rig for the aftermarket rail?
