    Possible BSR carbine course, NOVA

I have contacted BSR, in Summit Point WV, about a possible civilian carbine course this spring. The class size would be 10-12 people. I'm waiting for more details as the emerge. Currently BSR only has courses for the Federal Gov. and Military. They are sorting out the details for the civilian course ( including price ).

I'd like to get a list together to show them that there is demand for such a course in the region (NOVA, MD and WV. )

I'm interested. Got anymore information on the BSR group? I've got a lot of sites blocked at worm barely any reception on my iPhone. Does bsr have a website? Are we looking at a 1 day 2 day 3 day 5 day course here?

Good luck. Their prices for the range have been crazy since 9/11....understandably so.

So far all the details are up in the air right now. I was told it would probably be a 1-2 day course though.

I'm always interested in new training opportunities.

I think this is the company (linky). Also,

Been around 5 years; staff of 4, according to Manta.com

One thing that would increase interest, I think, is to ask if they can accomodate low light/night shooting. That is almost impossible to find in the NoVa area due to noise restrictions. I'd be all over that.

Sure would be nice to see the instructor's profiles, an AAR or two, anything more than their shitty Flash website.

For sure. Haven't heard a word about them on any of the forums.

Based on the gold-plated facilities they advertise on their (really-weak) web site, it looks like they are focused on dept/agency/.mil clients, ala Silver Eagle Group; so I'll bet there won't be a good civilian course at a reasonable price forthcoming.

    Will keep hoping anyways, tho.
