    Gear Sector Hand Stop

Any feedback on these little gems:
    http://www.gearsector.com/view/product/182/reviews/

Seems kinda pricey for a piece of metal that weighs less than an ounce....
    $45.00

Are there other similar hand stops? (besides the horrible Ergo Stop with it's silly mounting screws and flimsy construction)

Its not the metal you are paying for, its everything else that goes into its manufacturing.

I did a writeup at Military Times that has more info regarding the Gear Sector lineup, it might have additional info for you, and if nothing else, its got more pictures.

Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

Very much so... The work needed to make it correctly has deterred me from having one of my own design made locally.

I realize that you are paying for a very meticulously designed and manufactured item, but still $45.00 for this item is excessive. That is just my humble opinion of course, and that is not to say I have not spent more on accessories for my "ladies"

As far as the KAC goes, I believe that you are paying for the name, I still see KAC Vert Grips selling for $90.00 when you can get far better Vert Grips for much less. The sling swivel is nice, albeit not as functional as a dedicated QD Sling mount....
