    Removing ACE stock.

I just got a stag lower with a mil spec buffer tube. I wanted to put on an ACE ARFX stock I had laying around to see how it would look. It went on fine. However, when I went to remove, it wouldn't budge. It feels like the stock is lodged in my upper somehow. I tried pouring CLP on the buffer tube, still no dice. What are my options with regards to removing the stock withouth destroying the buffer tube?

    Thanks!

    Seth,

The solution was simple - a few mallet strikes and the stock was off.
Here is what I am referring to:

    RBL,

Personally I have grown to like my VLTOR rifle stock more than ACE. I think it offers better cheeck weld with the battery compartments installed as well as multiple sling locations on the side of the stock.
I found that if I put the screw in sling loop on the left side of ACE stock, it would bounce against my lip when I was firing nose to charging handle.

Anybody want to trade an ACE for a VLTOR rifle stock?
