Strongbow...keep us updated on the gas control screw experiment of yours. My barrel is currently out getting chopped by Marvin and he offered to either just remove the screw or ream it out to what I want.

I took my SCAR's to the range today to get the 10.5" tuned up. I have details over at fnforum.net, but the long and the short of it is that I used the gas control screw with the part number ending in 190. With that screw, 5.56mm works in either the suppressed or unsuppressed regulator setting. .223 functions in the unsuppressed setting, but not the suppressed setting. This performance matches my stock SCAR 16s. The gas port size for that screw is approximatly 0.072".

This, in this EXACT configuration (with the exception of a PEQ-15 instead of the DBAL...and an additional selector setting) is what I would consider to be the current "state of the art" assault rifle.

This is a really awesome setup. If it wasn't for my aversion to NFA process...
Does extended CH help clearing Eo's base, or you still hit if you don't pay attention? I tried to run my XPS on ADM riser and my left thumb said no.

As Dave said, very obnoxious....especially under the awning at my local range.
