I've never seen an Aimpoint setup quite like that on top of a Leupold before. How difficult is it to get enough cheek weld for it?

It's to tall for a cheek weld, more like a chin weld. However, the 12 o'clock facilitates use from the week shoulder whereas an offset does not.

Nothing fancy, just your typical 17S - Requires a Geissele trigger. I may end up applying Kinetic MREX as some point to it, but as for now I'm happy with it.

My trigger improved so much, after 700 rd.'s .... may never install my Geissele Super Scar.
I like the carbine close to the weight , as it was from the box. Better that way.
¤ Leupy HAMR on top. Ladder covers on rails. That's for me . ☆

I picked up a used 2011 SCAR 17 and I am looking forward to taking it to the range this weekend.

I love my FAL and I already like how the SCAR handles so I doubt I will be disappointed.

I hope I can post some good shots with it.

Finally acquired a SCAR 16S. I've driven myself batty trying to mount the WMLx at 11:00 without blocking the front sight latch or the sling swivel... So I gave up.

Finally acquired a SCAR 16S. I've driven myself batty trying to mount the WMLx at 11:00 without blocking the front sight latch or the sling swivel... So I gave up.

I mounted a magpul sling loop at the bottom rail just forward of the magwell. It keeps the sling clear of everything up front.
