    Which FH to Perm Attch to a 14.5"

    Which Flash Hider/Compensator should I perm attach to a 14.5" to bring to legal length. I've shot a few silencers and I'm not that big on em' but I'm still toying with keeping that door open. I like the FSC-556 because it hides flash some and does a great job cutting recoil, but I don't know how it would fair for a perm attach. I'm gonna have ADCO do the build and attach.

    I run the FSC556 on mine perm attached. measures 16.10, Works great.

    I shot the fsc-556 a few weeks back. It is impressive in cutting muzzle rise and kick. I fired it during the day, so I can't say about the FH ability. I've heard (take that for what it's worth) that it does decrease the flash some, but not a butt-load like the Blackout or Vortex. Go to the Vide Demo portion at the bottom of this page. I have to say that the AR they are shooting has the oddest cyclic rate (maybe it itsn't an AR). http://www.primaryweapons.com/STORE/...y=&idproduct=9

    PS: will the Vortex work with certain suppressors? The Halo?

    My only experience is with the SE VG6. My next build is a 14.5 with a Surefire FH556-212A.

    Voted extended A2 just make sure you use peel washers so that you are able to mount a suppressor on at a later date if you chose. Suppressor type gemtec halo.

    so you don't have to SBR your Rifle, I did it to My Colt Upper that was 14.5 inches .you can always go back and remove it and SBR it later .I had to go that way Because At the time Alabama doesn't allow SBRs But they are in the process of repealing that so I hope to Take it Back to 14.5.
    ADCO did mine and they did a great Job
