SBR
Hey guys, new to the forum.
I am building my first AR, going to be a 9mm, sbr, eventually suppressed.
I have a question which has probably been answered but I have searched through the threads with no success, and my search button is useless, always says no results found regardless of what I enter.
I wanted to know the exact steps I must take in order to make my sbr legal. I have already ordered the stripped lower from spikes, should have it within a week or two they said.
I live in Ohio if it makes an difference.
Do I go ahead and get it engraved as soon as it comes in?
What exactly do I get engraved on it? I've heard you must put your name, city, state, and some have said your street address. Do I have to put "registered SBR"?
Does the BATF give me the serial number that is to be engraved on it or do I send the BATF the serial number that is on it?
I fill out form 1 for the SBR, and later on form 4 for the suppressor?
When filling out form 1 can I list that other uppers will be used for this lower? Is that legal?
Can the suppressor be used on multiple firearms or does it have to be dedicated to this one?
Here is what my build will look like, what do you think? I know, there is a lot of Spike's.
Upper:
Spikes tactical 9mm billet upper receiver
Tros 5” 3 Lug Barrel
CMMG Enhanced Ramped Bolt Assembly
Spikes Tactical Billet Charging Handle
YHM Light Weight Mini 4” Rail
Spikes VFG Combo Kit
Magpul MBUS
Lower:
Spikes ST-15 Stripped Rifle Lower
DPMS Lower Parts Kit
Spikes Tactical Pistol Buffer Tube Assembly
ST-9x 9mm Heavy Buffer
Ergo Grip
KNS Anti-Rotation Pins
Spikes Tactical Billet Trigger Guard
Hahn precision dedicated mag block bottom loader
Was thinking about putting a false can on it and longer rail. Does anyone have any experience with one?
Thx ahead of time guys.
