Gratuitous G19 ass shot...
Fairly sloppy sight picture comparison
that defoor front sight is so skinny.
Defoors are a .115" front / .150" rear
Hacks are a .140" front / .180" rear for comparison
I'm still just playing around with the Defoors, they do give up a little speed but certainly make up for it in ease of accuracy. Either way they're a good cheap upgrade from the factory dovetail protectors and reside on all of my "spare" Glocks.
For pic thread...more OD goodness.

SR thanx very much for the rear comparison shots of all 3 sights.
FWIW I have been running the Hack's since Ken told me they were coming out in a 2009 class. In a perfect world I wish the front were as thin a profile as the DeFoor's but I understand the reason why they cannot be, so I call it good.
Hacks. They're half the price and I actually prefer the sight picture. At 10' or so they perform about the same, but at 25yds I find I'm much more accurate with the Hacks. The only advantages of the HD is the rear tritium, but I think the front only gets the job done. The HD are also slightly taller and easier to manipulate one-handed using the rear sight.
Really you can't go wrong either way, but I'll never spend $120 on the HDs again after trying the Hacks.
