    Benelli M4 help

I am thinking of buying the the Benelli M4 shotgun. It would be like the camo color below, I prefer it over the black one. I would want to put a extended mag tube on it and that is where the problem is. The tube will be black and I am wondering what options I would have to put a camo finish on it. I have never put a finish on a gun so I am looking for some sugestions. Thanks for any help you can give me.

That looks like a Duracoat finish. It's very easy to replicate this pattern if you have an airbrush and compressor. Check out their website and you'll see a variety of camo patterns and color options: http://www.duracoat-finishes.com/

It looks a lot like a modified Afghan pattern. I encourage you to give it a try, it's a lot easier than you might think.

get a pro to do it

there are lots of ways to reproduce the finish on your m4s90, but i reccomend that you get it done by a pro!!!! its a benelli m4, not some old beat up shotgun you've had sitting under your bed for years...I owned an industrial coating company for about 10 years and ive seen lots of different products claiming to be "gun coatings" the product i suggest had excellendtadhesion, dries to about 1mil thickness, and can withstand 1100 degree heat.. not to mention it can take a beating and wont chip crack or flake!!!! there are about 20 good applicators across the U.S. who can apply this stuff for you, and imo you wont be dissapointed. ive used it on my m4 carbine about 6 months ago, fired 2k rounds plus out of it without any issues (not to mention that i am really hard on my equipment)...

    good luck
