Next week I'm going to get off my duff and order my NDI receiver and G2 trigger then it's off to be built!

I tried an impromptu cheek weld on a AK-103 with a triangle sidefolder, lining up the iron sights, and didn't see one bit of a problem.

Its all how one looks at it, I have plenty of the "Tactical" stuff as well as a few years of practical experience. Pieces like the Khyber Pass AK, Afghan War Rugs, Serb AKs captured from the conflict regions, Iraqi war souviners............................captures the imagination, provides hours of research material and , at least for me, gives me an escape from the day to day bullshit I have to endure.

Putting a russian sidefolder on any AK is one of the more practical things you can do to the rifle.
