This is exactly how I plan on setting up and using my MRP when I get it. Not a DMR, but a fighting battle rifle.

Thank you for the time you put into the review. It sounds like you have a trio of excellent weapons there.

Like you, I wish the NightForce had worked out as planned. I'm currently experimenting with a 1-4x variable myself.

Purely because of the weight. I didn't want to dick around with running an ASAP plate there. The 2-point is pretty tricky to change shoulders, and I may swap that around. I have a feeling I will probably bring the EMC to the next magpul class and pick Chris' brain about how best to sling the weapon, since he has the most experience lately with those systems.

Take it for what it's worth but try switching the rear stock attachment point to the other side. You can switch shoulders without choking yourself out. Or at least, that's what I found before I went to a QD point at the rear of the receiver.

So have the front part of the sling hooked on the left, back part on the right of the ACS?

    Titleist, nice review and rifle.

Slightly off topic, but what belt are you using and how do you like the Raven holster?

    Thanks,

Yup. I did that with mine and found that I don't choke the crap out of myself when transitioning. Give it a try and see what you think. Not as easy as a single point and you might have to have a slight slack in the sling but it works.
