    Total randomness, didn't even do a base coat, parts were different colors, template was whatever was on hand, Didn't do scope not sure I'm going to keep it.

    My baby is maybe complete haha. I need to paint the stock and grip in patriot brown or something like that.

    We need to talk about that paint job Vip3r..
    I want to learn how to do that. I could see doing that pattern but substituting the light green for white for winter camo. Or maybe leave it as is. Was that your intent?
    Except for the part I live in Texas. The AR could be useful one or two days every 3 years. That's just a very slick job.

    Board policy mandates I state that I shoot for BCM. I have also done work for 200 or so manufacturers within the firearm community. I am prior service, a full time LEO, firearm instructor, armorer, TL, martial arts instructor, and all around good guy.

    I also shoot and write for various publications. Let me know if you know cool secrets or have toys worthy of an article...

    Do you guys normally put some matte clear over the paint or just let it wear naturally?
