My new and improved tactical varmint killer

Just finished up my Socom barreled upper after pillaging some parts from another stick. Once I have enough cash I'll have the family back together again. In the meantime, I'm going to run the piss out of this and see how it performs. After 3 hundred rounds over the weekend to confirm she runs, time for paint.
Great looking paint Greg and Ken!

Aervoe Paint. Purchased from DSGarms. https://dsgarms.com/ae952
You can use a patch kit for a camo net as a stencil or look up Krylon camo stencils (search google), print off on paper and cut out the sections. I've used both and both work well. Camo net is quicker, especially if doing large numbers like a company or battalions weapons. No need for a complete degrease, just get any excess oil off and cover/tape anything you don't want to get painted (optics, light lens, etc) Base coat is sand - Aervoe 977 Sand (30277), After the base coat, pick a few different patterns or drap the net over a section. Then hit in random areas with each of the following colors. You will go from light to dark. Use the darker colors on high spots. Go in order of Aervoe 480 Highland, then Aervoe Marine Corps Green (34052), then Aervoe 932 Dark Green (34102) Final step is to use Aervoe 987B Olive Drab 34088 to mist. Go light from about 18 inches out. Tips - use light applications, don't try to get every color on every square inch, let the weapon and accessories sit in the sun if possible, warmer is better. Weapons in these pics were done with this technique. I have done hundreds of magazines this way; optics, lights, M320s, M240s, M249s, etc. No need to get fancy with this stuff an no need for fancy/expensive coatings. The Aervoe paint flat out works way better than Krylon and the color combo is very close to Multicam colors.

That's a versatile looking scheme.
