You guys are crazy taking a can of spray paint to a $3-4,000 dollar AR setup.

I didn't realize that a can of spray paint would damage my guns.

I don't know guys, when I painted my BCM, it started to melt just like the Aimpoint and 2.5-10 optic I painted before it. I guess I just never learn..

Some paints need a few days to cure completely.

Try very light layers rather than laying it on thick. Just dust it. Do lost of light layers till you’re satisfied.

Of course it will. Just imagine if you subjected your rifle to tens of thousands of explosions that caused copper and lead to leave the rifle at like 2,000mph.

They’re delicate, ya know.

I obviously failed at the sarcasm, but I agree on the methods of painting. I was more referring to rifles spontaneously melting after being painted, and how ridiculous it is to think they are going to somehow irreparably be damaged by spray paint. Like I said though, failed joke on my part.
