Irons-only training gun complete (no, that's not a TA31 already in my Amazon cart, go away!). Just a standard BCM upper on their lower. Time to go throw it in the gravel so I quit setting it down gently.

There's something about a well-done iron-sights-only rifle that I find compelling. If my eyesight wasn't so bad I too would prefer to go optic-less.

But I agree with you... I treat my tools way too gently.

There are reasons, other than avoiding scratches, for protecting your firearms from being beat up.

I still maintain that optics make the world go 'round, but I too have always liked shooting with irons, and I got sick of always pulling an optic on my primary rifle for irons use.

Correct its an MFT BUS - BATTLELINK™ Utility Stock and the barrel is a .277 Wolverine Premium Barrel - 18" 416R Stainless Threaded.
