    Ultra-light Build

I built this sometime ago but thought I would post it here for comments.

I call it my "Plastic Fantastic" because both the Upper and Lower Receivers are polymer.

    Here are some specs:
    Upper: Bushmaster Carbon-15
Barrel: 16" Bushmaster Super Lightweight barrel (1/7" twist, chrome lined)
    Flash Suppressor: A2
    BCG: Chrome GI
    BUIS: Magpul MBUS
    Light Mount: Elzetta ZFH1500
Light: Surefire G2 with Malkoff M60 LED drop-in
Lower: Cav Arms Mk II with a standard GI LPK.

Result: 5 lb. 1 oz (without magazine). Shoots great (less than 1k rounds through it so far).

That is one of the best lightweight builds I have seen. Nice job. What kind of sling are you going to run on it?

In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

So far I have not used a sling with it but I may get one of these to work with my Urban ERT Sling.
