    LMS Defense is holding 2 open enrollment courses in May at Cascade Shooting Facilities in Ravensdale Wa.

    One Day Pistol - Full
    Dates: 8 May, 2010
    Location: Cascade Shooting Facilities, Ravensdale WA

    This fun and informative course is designed for novice and regular shooters. LMS Defense’s professional and comfortable learning environment will enable you to quickly learn handgun safety, core fundamentals and shooting dynamics, weapons handling, effective handgun engagement techniques, and holster use. You will also take home techniques and skills to train correctly on your own. This is a great course for new gun owners and recreational shooters to take the plunge into getting professional instruction without a large financial and time commitment. We strive to teach these low stress courses locally and often.

    Handgun and 3 magazines minimum
    Belt mounted holster and magazine pouches
    500 rounds of handgun ammunition
    Water and a sack lunch

    This low stress but challenging course is designed for new carbine owners, weekend shooters and professional gun handlers who want a fundamentals refresher. Our comfortable, professional learning environment allows students of this course to learn safety, carbine setup and deployment, rifle marksmanship fundamentals and core defensive carbine skills. You will also take home techniques and skills to train correctly on your own. This one day course also sets the student up to get the full learning potential out of a two day Carbine One or similar course. At a minimum, you will leave with a zeroed carbine that you will know how to safely handle and employ. We strive to teach these courses locally and often.

    I've attended both of these courses and they are great way to get oriented if you are a new shooter and an excellent structured refresher if you already have experience.

    I find the one day format golden for scheduling.

    May 8th Pistol class is full.

    May 22nd Carbine still has a few openings.
