Graduation present to myself! Spikes middy

    Howdy folks!

Today is a good day! I graduate tonight as a doctor of pharmacy! It has been a long road. I decided to build myself a good AR for home/personal defense and range use, as a present to myself. Well luckily, my Spikes upper arrived today! I also had a slew of stuff that arrived last week.

There are a few components I need to change. I've got a commercial buffer tube (helluva time to find out, after I received my milspec Magpul MOE stock) so I'll have to get a new milspec one. I also need a magpul MOE trigger guard. The gap on this standard one kills me! After that, the only thing I will change is the handguards to midlength magpul MOE handguards once they come out. After I learn this one, I may eventually get the BCM Gunfighter CH.

Now I just need to get a few rifle classes under my belt and a few thousand rounds of practice! This thing needs to get dirty.

    Specs/etc:
    - Spikes midlength LE upper
    - Spikes BCG and CH
    - Double Star lower and LPK
    - Magpul ASAP sling mount/plate
    - Magpul MOE grip (I really like this grip! Especially vs the original)
    - BoBro Aimpoint mount (very nice)
    - Aimpoint ML2 (got a killer deal on it)
    - Magpul rear BUIS
    - Viking Tactical mount with Surefire G2 LED
    - Magpul MS2 sling

I didn't get pics of the bolt/BC but I will later. The staking on the BC looks good, I'm no expert of course.
