Thread: Hrm... M&P 15-22, dedicated upper or CMMG conversion?

    Nordic Components makes some very nice 22LR uppers but they're pricey. I'm gonna go with the Magpul MOE S&W 15-22.

    My biggest suggestion would be to get the standard 15-22 and replace the grip and stock with Magpul MOE gear. The standard 15-22 comes with a free float 4 rail. It's also made of high strength polymer, so it is extremely light. I just don't really see the advantage to the MOE handgaurd.

    I ran my 15-22 with MOE grip, MOE stock, and XTM rail covers all in Dark Earth. If I can find a picture of it, I'll post it. The other perk to this set up is you get a milspec M4 stock and A2 grip off the standard 15-22 for future builds. Or in my case, I could switch the stock, grip, and pop off the rail covers and have a black gun again in about 5 minutes.

    Also, my 15-22 is still on Equipment Exchange for sale to anyone interested. Open to offers.
