Will Arsenal Ever Make The SLR In 5.45...?

That is the one I really, really, really want.

The 74M. Seems like it should be no trouble for Arsenal (or maybe even Saiga) to produce a semi model. Seems like they offer everything EXCEPT that model.

Seems to me if they made one, priced in the same range as the 7.62s and 5.56s SLRs, they should sell a ton of them. I know I'd buy one in every color.

So what is the reason they don't offer it?

    They did.

The Aresenal Inc. SLR-105 (post ban) and SLR-105 A1.

If you're talking about making one with a folding stock unit like the SLR-106 and 107 series.....

Highly doubt it but I gave up trying to guess what Arsenal Inc. was going to do a long time ago.

I love my SLR-105A1 but if Arsenal came out with a 105CR model I'd buy one and SBR it in a heartbeat!

I'd like a 104UR factory krink like Arsenal had on display at Shot 2009. They seem to consistently misjudge the market.

I don't think they misjudge the market. I think it's a matter of not being able to get the parts kits and barrels needed to build complete, quality rifles. With all the restrictions on parts kits and barrels now it is virtually impossible to get units built.

That said, let me state for the record in case anyone from Arsenal is listening, if they have the parts to make a SLR-105CR I will buy one if they make them

When I spoke with the Arsenal sales manager at Shot Show regarding production of the 104UR he indicated that they (Arsenal) had no intention of producing the 104. He never mentioned the lack of available kits and barrels however this does not rule that out. What confuses me is that their have been at least 2 production runs of 106URs and 107URs which would indicate that Arsenal either has a surplus of 5.56 and 7.62x39 kits OR they are being mnaufactured? My point is that if 106 & 107UR kits are being manufactured then why not 104's?

    Cheers

Yeah, but otherwise it's pretty darn close... one could always have a 'smith install a Century Series sidefolder trunnion, stock and front latch.
