I know that, that's why I asked for us to quantify hard use.

And if the Bush carbon's not a substantive enough pistol in 223 which other brand would you recommend? I am open to suggestions so lets have at it.

Bushmaster sent my unit a few test rifles when i was in the Marines, and one of them was a carbon 15, but a sbr full auto one with a stock. One of the guys on my staff now who was with me in the same unit took it to a SWAT school in Georgia. He literally melted the gun. Didn't hold up when they were shooting all full auto and about 1,200 rounds in 4-5 hours for 5 days.

    -1 for me

basically i am just using it for plinkin. so shooting it 'hard' probably shouldn't be a problem...i have others for that. and even if i had a problem, i'm sure bushmaster would take care of it. eventhough i would rather not.
basically every once in a while at the range just for fun.
still looking for a case though.

This pistol was not designed and was not meant to be fired full auto right?

hotpursuit58, buy it and enjoy it! Don't know what it'll cost you but the thing's a blast to shoot and mine's been dependable and accurate. And since I don't hear anyone here offering alternatives.....
