Finally Some Range Time with my BCM Middy

Got a chance to get out and do some time behind the mussel end. I recently picked up a BCM 16" Midlength with a DD 12" Lite Rail on it. I just couldnt warm up to mt 16" LMT Carbine because my 14.5" LMT Just fells RIGHT.

Got the ACOG sighted in at 1.5" low at 25 yards and my troys sighted about the same. There backups and my eyes are not what they used to be.

Here is my buddy Jon getting his Shoot ON with his 14.5" BCM.

Another shot after 140 rounds this morning. I could shoot this thing all day!!

We had some pistol shooting too.
    Glock 19 at 7 yards

The first 5 from my 442-1 at 6 yards slow rate.(bottom one)

And one more slow rate with the G19 at same 6 yards.

NOW I JUST NEED TO WORK ON SPEED AND KEEP THE GROUPING DECENT!!!!

Complete BCM 16" middy here and I love it. For now it's just wearing a carry handle and A2 sights but it instantly became my favorite and goes with me nearly everywhere now. 100% functioning and top notch quality. Eventually I may go with an Aimpoint T1, but for my needs irons zero'd at 50 yards are just fine 99% of the time.

Jon just sent me some pics. Fun pistol shooting at balloons in the creek

Father they go its rifle range

    Jon's obligatory AR group shot.

I may top mine off with a red dot as well. also may just zero irons at 50 yards and go with those.

Excellent choice and nice set up. I'd go for the 50/200 yard zero since you have the scope on it. Your Glock is what I was looking for, a Gen II G19 without the finger groves.

Congrats, you have a nice setup. I have the same BCM upper, but with the LW barrel. I really like the setup alot. Tell your buddy his rear MBUS is on backward.

I got the Gen II in a trade. Don't like the white someone put in the lettering but it will come out if I ever do a detail cleaning.
I have my Gen III at boresight solutions having the finger grooves removed as we speak plus a little more.

I'll let my buddy know about his sight. Not familiar with them enough to know that myself. I am a big magpul fan except for the sights. Just so large for what they are to me.

I noticed the backward sight too.. for a sec I was like "is that how they're supposed to be?" haha.

Guess you think I should have picked my brass up in the woods and rocks too.

I also left my dog poop on the ground after the bomb was dropped.
