Remember, that is for orders placed right now.
There is a constant flow of guns going out to fill previous orders to dealers and distributors.

IMHO, Trading on a family name and overcharging for a product just seems a bit sleazy to me. I'd rather buy from a reputable dealer that chooses not to gouge customers, but that's just me. I don't care if the wait is two days or two years, I wouldn't pay that price.
Good luck getting a KAC SR15 for less than MSRP in "TODAYS" market. I think its a good price for a extraordinary weapon. Im not saying its RIGHT but it is the market atm.

By the way... I ordered it on Feb 22nd and picked it up last Monday (March 25th).

Depends on a whole host of factors, so I can't really give an accurate estimate. Sorry, just the reality of the industry right now.

I understand completely. Leon was telling us essentially the same thing.

Other than being a Knight's their bolts and barrels, for example, are designed to be sturdier. I've used KA rifles on the job and beat the crap out of them....love the feel, love the reliability, and absolutely love the looks as well. Of course everyone is different, so these are just my opinions. However, KA is a proven company who makes weapons that work!

Another view... Awesome weapon! They are on the pricey side but to me they are some of the best weapons system on the market. Very solid rifle.

    The best

I went to Costa's carbine class with a few rifles. Before the class I was just a fan boy, now I am infatuated with them. 1800 rounds and zero ftf. I also own bcm, noveske, mega, several others I have put together. They are the best shooting ar as far as feel goes. The most accurate ? No, but lets remember what your using it for.
Put a 3T or mams on it, then you'll have yourself an exceedingly great shooting gun.

Here is a great podcast with Jack Leuba (F2S). Everyone who is interested in the AR15/M4/SR15 should listen to it. Jack basically explains everything in the Sticky's and then some.
