No dude is going to get shot in the chest at 300 yards and look down and say "What is that, a 3 MOA group?"

For mine I use a pointed tip and press into the plastic to a desired depth.

Once you do a few you will be doing it to everything. I have done my PMags, XTM Panels, AFG and front of the pistol grip. Also my entire MP 40.

It is really amazing how much of a difference it makes.

I did these a long time ago...

Extremely aggressive texture and excellent grip. Almost too grippy.

A good way to adjust the aggressive nature of that grip is to use the tool itself. It looks like you used a flat head screwdriver type of head as on a soldering iron. Instead of knocking down the texture with sandpaper, if you use the flat head tip, turn it on its side and brush the texture with the flat part of the head lightly it will melt down the rough edges. The more you do it, the less aggressive the texture becomes. IMO it is a nicer job than knocking it down with sandpaper.

Thanks Grant! I just noticed that you are offering this work with some of your weapons. Good to see that! I started doing mostly custom rifle stocks, but I have been doing quite a bit of stipple work on the poly pistols and accessories lately. People are definitely catching on to its benefits.

I have no hard numbers on this but I think its common sense and should be noted that when stipling the pmags you could reach a point to where you have impacted the structural integrity of them negatively so i would think folks should be mindful of this as I am when doing it. Just a thought

Thanks, was the first thing I tried stippling. Then I grew balls and did my Glock.
