called Bushy and got an RMA to send in the trigger pack alone. The BM gunsmith thinks its a binding disconnector. They are going to overnight it for me. Come to think of it the disconnector did feel a bit gritty compared to a working AR I have when I was tinkering with both.
Hmmm, I think with the barrel re-contoured in front of the gas block/piston and chopped at 14.5 it would help out a lot with weight and balance.

i still prefer 16", a lightweight version needs to come out so I can has it
that's a goos looking combo. I don't know why firearms manufacturers don't ask for client imput prior to releasing a weapon. I'm sure this version would have been near the top of the list.
