That's awesome. Sheer awesome.
I know the Australians were making a 7.62x39mm bolt gun that took AK mags, but I'm not sure if it was an Enfield-pattern gun or not. Still, I kind of wanted one. Then the Aussies pretty much stopped making anything for export.

Thanks for sharing that Ned, I was really wondering how you did the bolt/ extractor. Way cool but damn that is alot of work !

Just repainted - former beater AK.
With a little finesse, the MOE attachments can be useful.

It would have gone better with a Yugo...
(I re-riveted the bipod the next day, this was a field expedient flex cuff fix...)
