Enjoying our spring weather.
My brother has a similar setup and picked up a T1 with a Larue LT661 low mount. He was a little irked that there was no cowitness whatsoever with the Larue base so he found a factory low mount. Now the irons are sort of a lower 1/3rd, but as HK91308 mentioned, just barely usable.
Anyway, nice rifle, Fastcat. Perfect setup for a no-frills fighting gun. Makes me wonder why I got out of the AK game. Where is the sling attached on the rear?
The T1 is on a factory low mount. It certainly totally usable. Lower 1/3.
The sling is mounted on the rear swivel. It works well. If I plan on using this a lot I pull the Vickers off my go to AR.
Also I like the vented Ultimak on the vented gas block. Seems to chill the rifle out a little.
It’s way over gassed(it’s an AK).

Thanks Fastcat, my irons - rear and front are barely visible, seeing through my T2 on the factory low mount. What rear sight elevation number setting/mark is your rear sight zeroed in/dialed at?
..yours look great.

There was once a Russian made side rail mount designed by an American from Russia of all places that centered an Aimpoint over the receiver and allowed for co-witness.
I have one on my go to rifle.
