    G&R's version of the Stealth

A customer asked us to build something similar to LT's Stealth upper. After gathering up all the components, we came up with the below upper. The upper managed to shoot under 1/2 inch groups with 75gr TAP!

    C4

    Components:

16" Loather Walther LW50 SS barrel in 1/7 twist, M4 barrel extensions, gradual taper to improve rigidity and a mid-length gas system.

    LT Stealth M4 Upper receiver

    LT 10.0 FF rail

    VLTOR SS GB

    Vortex

    PRI Gas Buster CH

FN contracted BCG with BCM extractor upgrade kit

I would assume these barrels should be meticulously "Broken In". What's your recommendation, or do you do it before it leaves G&R?

I simply follow the 1 shot & clean 10 times. and then move into 5 shots & clean 10 times.

Because barrel break in is really a personal preference, I leave it up to the shooter to do what they want.

Out of curiosity what does an upper build like that cost? I looked on your website but did not find a cost for the entire build.

    Thanks!

That's not a bad price at all - may have to order one up myself before I head down range.

Grant, are you regularly assembling rifles/uppers or just for funs as a side to your store? By now I have a strong feeling that outside of RRA and CMMG there is no place to order the rifle the way I want it. With all the bad comments on RRA I no longer even consider it and CMMG site does not inspire me to buy from them neither.
