Will a milled A2 front sight fit under a DD lite?

It will definitely work as many here have said. Since your barrel has the pinned sight already installed it is a good choice. I have done a few, but not for the DD rail. The 2 that I used for Larue rails required more material to be removed than the one Ring pictured. Slide the cut down version on your barrel and make sure the rail will go over it before you consider it done and then do the refinish job. I use High Heat black paint for BBQs or exhaust systems, either one will work fine. Have fun!
