Looking for a 1911 smith to do slide machine work

I need forward cocking serrations cut and dehorning done to a Sprinfield Inc slide. I'm looking for someone who can do this competently with a reasonable turn-around time.

    Any recommendations are welcom.

I will second the Springfield Custom shop. They do first class work, easily on par with any of the top name smiths and they have a decent turn around time, unlike many of the top name smiths. Take a look at their option list on their web site, but keep in mind that they can do anything you want, even if it is not listed on their option sheet. Call or e-mail Deb at Springfield Custom and she will sort you out.

Mr. Smith (Superior Firearms) has his own forum on here and can do this type of work. I can not say enough good things about his work. Check him out in the dealer section.
